The Thinning is Canceled

The recent frost really took a toll on the orchard. Right now, it looks like we won't have much of a crop this year, so we've had to cancel the planned thinning that was set for May and June. We've let the stake representatives know so they can let the leaders know.

Youth night is still happening as planned. We still need to do a lot of work on treating the trees and painting over the fungus. This painting stops the fungus from getting the moisture it needs to grow. It's a big job, and having the youth help out is a real blessing. The orchard missionaries will keep taking care of the trees to keep them healthy and ready for next year.
