  • Volunteers serve through assigned Stakes and Wards. Participation is coordinated through local Church leadership.

  • Yes. Volunteers are asked to complete the sign-up form before arriving so assignments and safety needs can be planned.

  • Yes. All volunteers must watch the safety and training videos before serving at the orchard. This helps keep everyone safe while working.

  • Volunteer work may include pruning, mowing, orchard maintenance, harvesting peaches, and assisting others as needed. Tasks vary by season and day.

  • Please wear comfortable work clothes, closed-toe shoes, and clothing appropriate for the weather. Bringing water, gloves, and sun protection is recommended.

  • Youth participation depends on the activity and must follow Church safety guidelines. Youth should always be supervised by responsible adults.

  • Volunteers are asked to clock in using their phone when they arrive at the orchard. Instructions will be provided on-site and texted to those who have signed up.

  • No. Peaches harvested at the orchard are not sold. All fruit is canned and distributed to individuals and families in need through the Church welfare program.

  • Harvested peaches are transported to a Church-owned cannery, where they are processed and then distributed through the Bishop’s Storehouse.

  • Shed duty is an assortment of jobs supporting the volunteers working in the orchard. The jobs include stapling boxes together for harvesting peaches, collecting filled boxes, unloading filled boxes as they are brought to the shed from the orchard, and other jobs that can be done in and around the main barn area.

  • Yes. Volunteers are welcome to take photos. Please be respectful of others and avoid sharing images that may make someone uncomfortable.

  • Yes! Volunteers are invited to upload photos from their service to help document and celebrate the season.

  • Weather-related changes or cancellations will be shared through the orchard’s updates page or by local leaders.
